Wipak Valkeakoski Oy was founded in 1987 as Nordpak Oy which was acquired by Klöckner Pentaplast in the spring of 2007 before becoming part of the Wipak Group. Situated about 130 kilometers north of Helsinki, the Valkeakoski production site has around 70 employees and specializes in blown film coextrusion, producing multilayer films for packaging food and medical items. Valkeakoski’s specialities include coloured multilayer films as wells as its NICE product range of semi-rigid flexible films.
