Oxyshield as the film has been oriented in machine direction, it performs well on all machinery for conversion and further processing (printing, adhesive laminating, coating and packaging machines).

The machine direction orientation makes the film extremely tough, and therefore resistant to flex-cracking and puncturing, as there are residual elongation reserves in transverse direction.

Oxyshield has a high gas barrier which makes it ideal for protecting oxygensensitive products, and when combined with a sealing layer it can also be reliably used for modified atmosphere packaging (MAP). The film has excellent visual properties: it is highly transparent and has brilliant surface gloss, which enhances printed images, making the packaged product particularly sales-appealing.

Oxyshield is the appropriate alternative to coated polyester, coated PAB or other films with extremely high gas barriers. Disposal of the film is environmentally neutral. It contains no chlorine.
