The key requirement when packaging perishable food products is a low oxygen transmission rate that is retained even where large draw depths are required. Our Escofoam films made of coextruded and expanded polyester (PET) provide appealing haptic or tactile properties and supreme machinability. Their features include a high gas barrier and an effective polyolefin sealing layer. Our polypropylene films such as Multipet and Multi PP are ideal for semi-rigid packs with a high gas barrier. They are available as thermoformable rollstock.
