The Booklet closure system is where the two halves of the pack have different draw depths and one is folded over and mechanically wedged to form a lid on the other tray. With the Multipet Topforming system, two PET trays are pressed one into the other and hermetically sealed. With a slight lateral bulge, the shallower lid fits exactly and firmly into the deeper tray. Form-fill-seal and stand-up pouches can be provided with zip closures, self-adhesive labels or a reclosable sealant.
Our Repak system is based on an adhesive layer in the bottom film (tray) with a highly effective migration barrier and the sealing layer.
