Superclear is a recent addition to Wipak’s range of flexible thermoforming laminates. This multilayer barrier film (with up to 10 layers) has been specially developed for packaging fresh meat and processed meat, including sausage products and cooked ham. Superclear is also suitable for pasteurization and is available in thicknesses ranging from 60 to 250 microns.
To meet specific requirements, Wipak’s multilayer films based on polyamide(nylon)/polyethylene are custom-adapted and provided with or without a barrier. In addition the Combitherm range of flexible polyamide/polyethylene films encompasses sterilizable/retortable versions which can actively absorb any residual oxygen inside the pack.
