Amine testing, measuring migration and gas transmission rates, carrying out microbiological analyses, examining rejects and external samples – our film testing laboratory is capable of performing sophisticated state-of-the-art tests and analyses. Supplying for instance printed films that need to be neutral with regard to odour and taste involves testing the printing inks for residual solvents. This is standard procedure at Wipak, as is checking multilayer films with an oxygen barrier as to whether the functional layers meet the specifications.
