The first conference was the North Zone MDR Congress, which was held in Cold Lake, Alberta, on May 26. It covered a number of interesting topics, including how to reprocess instruments properly, what kind of requests Canadian standard CAN/CSA-Z314-18 is putting on instrument reprocessing, and the vision for local MDRs in the future.
As part of the event’s schedule, the Wipak team delivered a presentation on the hot topic of packaging process validation and routine testing of package integrity. This resulting in Wipak’s validation service and routine control products receiving lots of attention, with a plethora of enquiries on The Stevens Company stand throughout the day.
The second event was the IPAC National Conference, which was held in beautiful Banff, amongst the mountains of Alberta. The conference took place between 27-30 May and featured a program filled with educational content for achieving better patient outcomes. The event also provided delegates with the opportunity to network with other professionals working in hospital hygiene.
We were delighted to have a presence on The Stevens Company stand once again, and would like express our gratitude to our valued partner for both its hospitality and its commitment to advocating our products!
